A present for Mir... "Beginning & End" wallpaper set

Today is my wife's birthday and to celebrate, I have created a set of walls for her game.


There are a total of 56 walls: 46 wallpapers & 10 painted walls.
Palette is by faith4faith at COLOURlovers.
Most patterns are also by faith4faith, others by me. Some may also be by various COLOURlover members, but will all be linked with the palette.
The painted walls and the names used are all from the palette as well.

Massive thanks to faith4faith for creating this fantastic palette. And to Mir, for sticking with me through all the frustration. Not that she knew I was making these walls for her... Oh, who am I kidding? ;)

Too tired to go in-game and take preview pics, but I will do so later. Done.

This is my first ever wallpaper set, so if anything is wrong with any of the files, please let me know.
All files are labelled with the numbers on the swatch, so feel free to keep only what you like.

    Oh, doodlebug, they are *so* gorgeous. I love the paint walls, and there are so. many. wallpapers. to choose from!

    So beautiful. (Absolute favorites: 4, 10, 19, 20, 46.) I'm going to enjoy using them in my game.

    Oh my god, they are adorable! O.o The computer I play Sims 2 on is currently down due to a massive overload of Sims 2 content, so I prohibited myself to download more stuff for the game, but... but... I just couldn't resist here! :D

    Dear Sofy,first of all this wallpapers are awesome!.
    And secondly, I saw a lot of your sims pic @GoS and I couldn't resist to ask,do you use any trick (photoshop) on your pics?,I ask you this cause your pics lookso colorfull and I know about the high quality,my game is in high but the pics doesn't look so brighten and colorfull,hope you can answer my question,and beautiful Blog btw.

    Hi there, Amylosis!

    Thanks for your sweet comment. I'm so glad you enjoy my wallpapers and my pics in general.

    I don't use photoshop at all, but I do use PhotoScape to edit my pics. It's a free program you can download here. First I crop the image to the ratio I want (usually 3x5 ratio, but there are a lot more to choose from), then I apply Bloom [Middle(default)], Backlight [(+/-)50% (Default)], and Sharpen [10]. Add the border, resize, save.

    It's an easy edit for each image, doesn't take much time and really brings out the natural colours of the image. Basically, all it does is brighten them up.

    I put up a little picture tutorial for you here, in case you're more visual, like me, and need pictorial aids. ;)
